I was just coming here to post about stassi. No need. Yes he and white have been awful and now white on the IL
Keutchel pitched a gem, 7 innings 4 hit ball. He lowered his ERA to 3.78 and evens his record to 5-5. Nice job Dallas
Obviously these numbers mean very little considering they are still prospects, but here are what the guys traded for Greinke have done since leaving the Astros. Josh Rojas (mlb) 37 plate appearances, .182 AVG, .270 OBP, 212 SLG, .482 OPS, 28 OPS+, and striking out 27% of the time Seth Beer (AA) 20 games, 85 plate appearances, .208 AVG, .318 OBP, .333 SLG, .651 OPS JBB (AA) Currently on the injured list with elbow soreness 2 starts, 7IP, 7.71 ERA, 2.143 WHIP, 10 hits, 5 BB, 11K
That is brutal. Surprised Rojas is striking out that much. But all those are small samples. Biggest flag is “elbow soreness”. Yikes.
How is JD Davis hitting .300 with a .500 slugging percentage?? Guess it doesn't matter for us now that we have Yordan but dang...
His defense has been up and down. Made a difficult catch last week (though would have been a lot easier for someone faster), but this week on a routine single in front of him in left, Billy Hamilton went first to home.
Mark Appel is done with baseball and is opening restaurants. https://www.houstoniamag.com/articl...urce=facebook&hss_channel=fbp-397331707027508
Up & Down is a nice way to describe it. He's a big part of the worst defense in baseball. The Mets have a hard time because they don't have a DH spot, and their current 1B is about to win NL ROTY.
So Josh Rojas in LF misplays a ball by Kike Hernandez into a leadoff double, Kike later scores a freebie run to make it 4-2 Dodgers. Next inning, Rojas hits his 1st MLB HR, a 2-out 2-run jack to tie it at 4 in the bottom of the 7th.
