    Top 5 will never change.

Rockets could get higher if Jalen/Jabari are the real deal.

Think GSW will still be a top 5 franchise in 10 years even if their team quality drops significantly?

Being in San Francisco? Absolutely! They already have Poole, Moody, Wiseman and Kuminga to start the next wave. Not to mention they are willing to spend.

So if my math is correct, the NBA as a whole has a whopping (2.6BILLION) in operating income!!

That comes out to 88Million per club!! That's a lot of frickin cannolis! o_O

    (P.S.) Brooklyn Nets -$34millon ?!?

All that money and they still can't build a decent app for League Pass.

I’m always surprised that the Knicks top the list (or near top).

they have been largely irrelevant in basketball for decades and are not a global brand like the Lakers or Warriors (or the Rockets used to be). I would think the Lakers would always be more valuable than the Knicks

AND, if I'm not mistaken, are still making payments on Matt Maloney's contract! ;)

I am sure the Knicks are easily recognizable like the Giants, Rangers and Yankees.

I could see people who are not Knicks fans buy merch or people who like Spike Lee follow them.

They're at the top because of the lucrative location being in Manhattan, playing in MSG, and media rights. They can suck and still charge damn-near whatever they want. What's really crazy is that when it comes to valuation of sports teams worldwide, the NFL dominates, but I still think the Knicks are in the top-10.

I thought China hated us. How are we still top 10? has the Philippines replaced China?

Forbes obviously did not tour the practice facility.

Yes because it's a massive media market

Look at the Knicks. Terrible team, but valuable because of the market size.

Lots of ardent Knicks fans who keep complaining but also keep watching.
