    Semi-agree with you. I agree that the thread is full of distasteful and unnecessary comments about God (and this is coming from an atheist) but I think it is more about obvious attacks on T-mac&Yao=RING than anything else. I imagine that if you, MadMax, etc had started it there might be a few more reasonable posts.

    To the God I know I would ask:

    Could I take a moment to thank you for setting me free from drugs and alcohol addiction; could I thank you for being a Father to me, because I never had one until you came into my life; would you mind if I tell you what it meant to me all the times you came to my rescue, could I please tell you again how many times your power saved me even though I couldn't see you or touch you; and if you have just a minute I would like to tell you face to face what you meant to my marriage and five outstanding children and many grandchildren that brought extreme joy to me; and finally could I just say I don't know why I doubted at all but you never gave up on me?

    Could we go over this once again if you have a few minutes in eternity?

    God is not dead. He does exist because we, as a collective willed Him into existence. If not in the physical sense, the idea of Him has/is shaping humanity and effected everyone's lives. Isn't that the essence of God? Whether in the physical sense or an idea, what's the difference in the end?

    I'm just trying to be deep. I'm not really religious :)
