Had a few moments to it, but it's more of the same stuff that's been said for the last year or so.

I'm a pc gamer myself, so the only brand that shows for me is what's inside. Then I slap my brand on the outside.

I'm sure those $250-400 gaming computers are just awesome.

Yep, me too. I like consoles for stuff like football games etc.

But PC's rock the world with First Person shooters and Strategy gaames.

I'm now running SLI for the first time. 4gbs of ram, dual 8800 GTS's. :D

I'm all about online gaming. I'm almost ALWAYS online surfing the net, chatting, and gaming. So That's why I love PC's.

real gamers get all consoles... add the cost of the consoles together = solid PC.

Maybe. I use to be a PC-only FPS owner, butt he cost of keeping a PC up to spec over 3-4 years equasls the cost of a couple of consoles.

If you can get similar performance PLUS online gaming from a console, I think it's more cost efficient over the long run.

I don't like spend $3K every 4 years for gaming. And if you're not spending that much, I'd like to see how your computer run Crysis or Sup Com multi player :D

Personally, the console vs. PC thing comes down more to the fact that I like to enjoy my games on the couch, rather than sitting in front of the computer.

I sit my ass in front of the computer everyday at work, and I'm not exactly in the mood to stay there when I play games at home.

3K?! You kidding me? I've spent far less than that and here is my pc from last year:

    Code:

    Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU 6400 @ 2.73GHz (2 CPUs)
    Memory: OCZ DDR2 800 ---4096MB RAM
    Hard Drive: 120 GB x 3
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTS [x2] ***SLI***
    Monitor: SyncMaster 226BW(Digital) (22 inch 2ms response) [x2]
Sound Card: Creative SB Audigy LS (OLD)
    Speakers/Headphones: LOGITECH z5300 5.1 Surround Sound Speaker
    Mouse: LOGITECH Mx518
    Case: Antec 900

Half of them might disagree, but ALL pc gamers would agree. ;)

PC's games on average are a lot cheaper than Console games. Plus, they depreciate very quickly. So a game like Madden won't cost the full price after being on the market for a few months, while on consoles it'll cost the same more or less till the next madden comes out.

Not to mention savings on things like reusing an old hard drive/sound card/case/dvd burners, etc... when upgrading.

    uprising, i agree with you.

it's a pita to play fps on a console. the analog nub is no where near as accurate/precise or quick to aim as a mouse (obviously). the addition of auto aim as a fix is also something i'm not excited about. it would be awesome if i had the option to use a kb/mouse for cod4 on my console.
