So does one USA victory guarantee a spot in the WC?

Yes, if we beat Honduras we'll qualify. A loss by Costa Rica (unlikely) would also do it.

The US/Honduras game is only available as PPV, Richmond Arms is supposed to have it with a $20 cover.

SirCharlesFan, do the scenario generator above.
I could make it myself, but WikiPeeps and Fifa.com-puterPeeps made it easy for me to cut-n-paste their HTML code recently. :D

Fellow Mexico fans... would you agree with adding Márquez?

I'm kind of happy Dempsey is hurt. I'm tired of his 20 min/game strategy...where he's only effective for 20 min/game. I'd love to see Holden get the start in his place. He seems like the most likely candidate (creative on the ball and can score from distance).

I'd love for game #10 to be meaningless for the US, but Honduras is going to be a very nasty place to play...especially with all that's going on politically right now (FIFA and CONCACAF considered moving the game to a neutral place).

Didn't realize it was PPV only. A huge BOOOOOOO to espn and fsc for not picking the potential qualifying game.

You know I'm not a fellow mexico fan. If I was, I'd be against it. Seems like they've played much better without him than with. I think they rely on him to do too much in the back and don't play team defense. That's what's been a large contributing factor to their success of late...playing team defense.

Not ESPN or FSC's fault. Honduran federation owns the rights and sold them to a company that only does closed circuit feeds.

    Hope Mexico somehow misses qualifying.

Every time I have watched a game with Mexico I've seen their players playing dirty and taking cheap shots. It doesn't seem to matter which coach they have either, it's as if it's ingrained in their program.

Be nice if USA wins both games and Honduras beats El Salvador.

You know what...? If MEXICO wins... we will qualify to World Cup South Africa 2010 BEFORE anyone else in the region...

    Damn schedules, huh?

Already qualified: South Africa, Japan, Australia, Korea Republic (South?), Netherlands, Korea DPR (North?), Brazil, Ghana, England, Spain, and Paraguay.

There are many many games going on Saturday and the next FIFA date. Good luck to all. Be safe. I really really hope whichever CONCACAF team gets the win past the CONMEBOL team.

ESPN, ABC, etc., have to do SOMETHING to get these U.S. games... this can't happen to you all. I get pissed that I don't get to watch my country in HD, but watching them play in any D is fine with me and better than none... I know it's too late, but I am so mad when the networks don't show the game.
