I had to start a new thread about flopping. It is OUT OF CONTROL. The refs need to let the players play. Just let them go at it and quit encouraging all the flopping with ticky-tack fouls. Seriously, there is no way Dallas can win w/o all the damn flopping.
Lol! So true. They need to let them play. It's hard to stomach when the refs are controlling the momentum of the game.
It's the sign of a veteran coach and team realizing they are out matched and have to throw screwballs in order to have a chance. If the Rockets let it bother them then they just might have that chance. Rockets need to just play and put this team away. Can't let it bother them.
He sure is throwing everything at the Rockets and having some success so far. And yeap, what can you do but just to continue to play. McHale though could take a T for the obvious bad calls and the Rockets should send those videos in and just maybe it slow down the flop in G3.
ahh thats poppycock. they just want the rockets to give them a good reason to flop. take notes from batum, he took the hint well
Yep... Carlisles antics has kept this team close enough to allow for this nonsense. You can't let veteran teams like this take you out of your game.
The NBA needs to make a statement that flopping is cheating and the league will review games and suspend players for flopping. That'll put an end to it.
Yep. In the last two games I would reckon Dirk and Barea each have a solid dozen fineable offenses. Chandler (and frankly, Harden) have at least half a dozen. But NBA won't do jack. The token caring about flopping was for show until people stopped talking about it.
We just got to play and not worry about the flops. They can't do anything about them anyway... maybe flop back? Only our Euro's are good at that.
Simple rule change is needed. Embellishing needs to be a technical foul regardless of the underlying call. That means there can still be fouls that are precipitating the flopping, however embellishing earns you a technical. So, you get your two shots if you're fouled, but you give one shot back to the other team.
