Well Martin is still injured (50/50 for tomorrow's game) and not a good ball handler.
Also, for all we know he'll still contiune to start and by the time he comes back we may have signed a fill-in PG already.

So we gave up Jordan Hill for a late 1st rounder and had to eat 3.5M?

    Was this worth it?

Buyout probably going to be significantly less than that.

Not sure how it factors into cap considerations.

But either way, totally worth it.

I think the last 2nd rounder we bought cost almost 3 million.

24th pick in 2007 cost the Blazers around 8M.

That was Morey's fault. He was the one who inflated the prices on second round picks when he bought 3 picks for 2.5M each in 2009.

Nicolas Batum is worth it, I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Rocket's exec. gives Fisher a call- "Yeah, look Fisher, it is probably better if I do the talking. It turns out our fans hate you. Like, a lot. Between playing for both the Jazz and the Lakers, putting a cheap shot on our Scola, and generally acting like a two-faced self-interested prick during lockout negotiations, yeah, they basically think you are an ass clown. Have you heard how much the Wizard fans boo Blatche? It would be worse. Let's just say we would fear for your life. So we are going to pay you to not show up. If you could kindly keep your ass in LA and not even bother traveling out here to our great city of Houston, that'd be great.

Alright, that will be all Fisher.

Oh, and if by some chance a team does pick you up and you feel better about yourself, just remember, a team did just pay us a 1st round pick to get rid of you."

I hope not. It doesn't make any sense. Fisher can help us and we need PG help right now with Lowry out and Fisher can help tutor/mentor Lowry and Dragic when we're in the playoffs. Fish has been there, seen it and won it all.
