Hey everyone. I didn't hear about the site from SI, but I did learn about it just last week over at the Astros fan forum site before MLB took it over. Anyway, I've been a regular member over there for over a year and I've seen a lot of other baseball boards as well, but in terms of quality this site as a whole is better than any of those I've ever seen. Anyway, I just thought I'd step in and say hi and congrats on the recognition. Hopefully I'll have time to pop in from time to time the rest of the season, but I'm a busy student and spring training did just start... ------------------

As a CC old-timer, I am always amazed at how big this community keeps getting. In 96 CC was just a babe in the Internet world. We were still high on the Championships despite the Seattle sweep. When the 5 for 1 Barkley trade went down, CC grew quite a bit (along with the internet). When Quitten came on board, this place simply blew up big time. Now we have been mentioned as the best fan site out there by SI. Talk about success. Clutch, you da man. ------------------
