80 percent of the teams in the nba are not trying to win a ring this year. Why would a non contending team give up multiple 1sts this year? Teams that would be willing to make a major move before the the deadline drops to about 15 - 20 percent of the nba. The Rockets fall squarely into that smaller group of teams.
Also : * did not mention Brandon Knight or Marquse Chriss as "feel good about" players * need a wing, so that narrows down who we'll go after
Good interview, candid about Melo. I was a bit surprised because I thought maybe CP3 was pushing for it. Hopefully the team can land that wing upgrade that Morey spoke of.
There were a lot of nuggets in that interview Notice how he said he felt good about James , Chris , and Austin at guard .... no mention of EG I've got to feel that EG's bad performance at this point is at least partially due to the fact he wants out .
That's also a possibility . However , he did say we need to shore up forwards . Either way he definitely did not directly mention Gordon at any point . Also , why is Gordon a forward and James is not lol .
The wing is the main target, but not the only one. A good trade and a solid buyout plus health may make us a stable and strong team. It's a tall order, good role players who are UFA's should be the first target, and then try to make a bigger move with more picks. Comments and ideas from all are appreciated.
I don't like this GIF. This kind of behavior has to stop. The way CP3 leans back he might pull a hammy.
