You're just mad. as much as it sucks to play OKC, Rockets match-up better with OKC than even the spurs and nuggets. we still arent going to win but I'm just saying.

But the bar should be higher than that. This team was in 6th just a few days ago and had a relatively easy schedule down the stretch given the Kobe injury.

OKC in 5. They are too good for us, and running more won't necessarily change that.

McHale had to choose between having shooters to space the floor for an offense that stagnated (to a great extent due to great D played by Dwight and Co.) and having a full-sized PF defending the opposing PF.

Basically, Smith & Jones gives you the size but not the shooting. Delfino gives you the shooting but not the size-- he holds up OK from time to time against PFs, but Gasol is a jumbo-sized elite PF/C. I suppose there's DMo, but he's a "shooter" who hasn't been making much.

agree, unless Harden finds an unknown reserve of energy somewhere, he looks wiped out for the season, all his shots are short, no effort on defense, poor decision making

i think we have better chance against OKC than SAS spurs would have killed us with teamball....but the old wess could hold us in the game...

if we go hero mode, like the first 2 games we played them..it will be a sweep.

if we play beautiful democratic ball, we will lose in 6 or 7.

Thunder in 5. We take Game 3 in front of raucous (haha yea right) Toyota Center crowd. Go bonkers from 3.

    Lose next two.

The Spurs were a wild card(as were the Nuggets had we finished 6th) due to the injury situation. Also their age made them a more favorable matchup should it turn into a run-and-gun series. I don't think we would've beaten them regardless, but we would've been more competitive. And I think we had at least a shot at taking out Denver.

OKC on the other hand is a horrible matchup for the Rockets. They have the youth and athleticism to play us to a draw if it's run and gun, but unlike us, they actually play defense. And if it goes to a halfcourt game as it usually does in the playoffs, Durant will kill us. We could steal a game or even two if we're lucky, but I think based on how this team crumbled tonight against a mediocre Lakers team, they don't have a prayer with OKC.

Thanks for posting this. Glad we have a lot of rest in between games, we seem to need it a lot despite being young.

Wow. 2 days off before both Games 2 and 3? I don't wanna hear any BS about fatigue. If the Rockets lose, it's because the Thunder played better(and are better).
