    1) i cant' believe deron is not that popular. the guy has a very exciting and explosive game. guess nobody likes utah :)

    2) yao is a no-brainer

    3) lebron lost a lot of votes

    4) dirk is also not very popular with the fans? guess a lot of people don't like the mavs either :)

Faker fans are literally half of all NBA fans, so of course even the all of the Faker players get lots of votes. The real question is why a scrub like Fisher is even on the ballot.

    DESERVING?!?

Its a ****ing popularity contest, its about who the PEOPLE want to see!!!

If you want something deserving, that's what 'ALL-NBA' TEAMS are for!!

None are more deserving? someone mentioned in the other thread that bynum has played a combined total of 30 minutes this season, so in that respect, id say haywood is more deserving than bynum; bench player or not, hes played this season.

Even the "all nba" awards are fairly popularized.

The worst are the "all D" awards, which are actually decided by coaches. Just goes to show you that they buy into the media hype just like the clueless commoners.

I know, he should at least be ahead of Jason Kidd in the voting.

I said none of those 3

So that would mean Bynum,Haywood, and Yao don't deserve to be over the Centers that are under them.

Not sure what you are saying in response to what I said.

right, it just seems like youre holding them all equal in terms of undeserving while i was trying to pull bynum out. to me, he is less deserving than the rest since he has only played 30 min this season. so for me he has essentially done nothing while the others have done something making him less deserving.

I'm not holding anyone equal, I just stated they didn't deserve to be all-stars. Never said they equal.

I'm so ****ing sick of All-Star weekend I don't even care who gets voted in. The All-Star game is a popularity contest, and the players don't even care. Dunk contest is trash nowadays. It all just ****ing sucks.

How does the NBA not insist that Duncan be listed as a center. By now is there any question the guy's a center?

Pau Gasol has been playing center so far this year and he is by far the best center in the west.

Centers are a dying breed. But yeah some of these PFs should be moved to Center.

Leaking out as the opponent shoots the ball so that he can cherry pick another basket?

If Duncan or Scola would be put up as Centers they would be leading the "sense" vote.
