    I was out in my driveway, here in Plano (DFW), working on something, at that time frame and heard low, rumbling, percussive booms and bumps.

    Did not see any fireworks in the sky or anything, I thought it was the local garage band practicing in the storage unit complex...


    Now I am second guessing that. :confused:

    It sounding like fireworks now that I think of it... or more accurately it reminded me of the sound of the bombing range at Eglin AFB in NW Florida (we used to live 1/4 from the edge of the property, about 10 miles from the edge of the range).


    Then tonight WGN played Armageddon. Now Chicken Little...

    There were a bunch of fireworks going off at The Domain in Austin last night too! I could hear them from my house. It was a "Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration."

    I heard a big boom in my backyard last night and the lights went out for a good 30 seconds then came right back on. Don't know what it was. Could be related to the "fireworks"? I live near Pearland Pkwy.
