lol OK. So only someone with Cam Newton's height and weight can be competent with ability to run. So what excuse do you have for Russell Wilson?

And CJ doesn't scare defenses as a tight end.

They are going off on 610.

14-18 of the 2-4th round picks Rick Smith has made since 2011 are no longer on the team.

One of the 4 is XSF..... eww.

To be (sorta) fair, Brandon Brooks should have gotten a contract. That was not a bad pick. Same with Earl Mitchell.

Some of those were by choice. Brooks and Mitchell were good picks.

Mitchell was 2010. But exactly 3 were by choice (Reed, Brooks, and Jones). But outside of them + Swearinger, I don't think the rest of the guys are even on a NFL roster right now.

Could be a BOB effect not sure but the Texans/Smith seem to accept and try and fix mistakes much much quicker now than ever before. I actually like that. The problem though, Smith can't stop making mistakes to begin with.

Because ankle injuries don't count? I'll let Nick Martin know that, smh.

Wilson is a pocket QB, not a read option guy like Cam. He's accurate with adequate arm and very high football IQ. Like Rodgers he's a pocket QB who can run, not a one-read and flee QB. Both run more than scheduled because of OL issues. So no "excuse" needed for Wilson.

Watson is built like Teddy, not Russell. Rick not addressing OL is flat out dumb. He should be protecting Watson, not setting him up for injuries. $21M in cap space but we wouldn't guarantee Duane Brown. Why? So we can "win" free agency in 2018? Like anybody's ever won winning free agency, lol.

Posey and Strong are the most head scratcher. It seemed there was so much potential there. No one could predict Brennan Williams would get injured and then start wrestling. Sam Montgomery and Nix were just bad picks. Whoever was responsible, Rick (ultimately it is his responsibility), Gary, Wade, took a big L with those picks.

Deandre Hopkins was 5th in receiving yards and 7th in receiving TDS from 2014-2015, so I don't think it was the system.
