Don't think he's washed up. And they didn't waive him. They traded him to Cleveland for Bynum and then dumped Bynum.

All Dukie's are overpaid. And this is coming from a Dukie.

    Battier. Boozer. Redick.

Earlier this decade, Dunleavy, Duhon, Shelden Williams. And Shavlik Freaking Randolph.

If a Dukie knows one thing, it's how to cash dem checks.

Not necessarily. If my fact are straight, the Rockets can play the system in a way then allows them to chase their expensive FA and retain Parsons.

A team has three days to match another team’s offer. At that time, Parsons will only count $1.8m to the Rockets Salary Cap. So for example, the Rockets can sign a FA on July 7th and don’t have to match Parsons until the 10th-assuming he signed a sheet on the 7th.

Instead of making a new thread...

Amik just reported Detroit would be willing to S&T Monroe.

I've mentioned going after deng and Lowry near 9 mil each if we can't land melo or lebron.
Deng can play some pf. He'll be undersized on defensive end but they won't be able to guard him either.

Thabo would be a great signing, we need defensive players, not offensive players

One card that Houston holds in the Deng chase: Chris Finch.

Finch coached the Britain national team leading up to the London Olympics and Deng was the best player on that team. I imagine those two have a good rapport and Finch has a few advices as to how best to chase Deng.

Thabo sucks. Deng is overrated and not that great.

Part of me is holding out hope that we at some point hand the reigns over to Finch and he blossoms into a great tactician.

Y'all are expecting deng to carry us that would not be his role I believe deng would excel with us because he can be the 3rd or sometimes 4th option with us. He will play very good D hit open shots and be one of those guys who does what's best for the team. Having said all that I don't think we make a move for deng lol.

Pat Riley is all over this. Monroe for Napier and Cole. Who says no???

But really, Boston should go for this. Rondo, Sullinger and a pick for Monroe.

I'm afraid we have our hands in so many different cookie jars, that we might end up with a heaping helping of Jack Squat!!

Rondo for Monroe has been rumored for ages.
