It's kinda funny that in the one pic that was gushed over on CF that Harden had worked exceptionally hard one summer to get in shape...

...Beard is obviously using his forearm to hide his hideously large love handles and has the basketball placed strategically in front of his bloated gut.

TL;DR: Don't buy the hype. Harden fat.

1 does harden practice giving his teammates target to pass him the ball in late game situations?
2 does they even practice late game situations at all?
3 never seen a team so inept at inbounding he ball in late game situations as rockets have been during last several years

He needs to practice ball handling when a double team comes at him. JB isn't the first person to do that to him, in the playoffs its happened to him and it has been highly effective.

Get some use out of MCW and find someone else to help him learn how to beat double teams.

It is strategical weight gain. Some of the most injury resistance players are those with a few extra pounds. Helps lubricate the joints.

When he came to Houston people forget that he wasn't known as a big time passer the way he is now, and he didn't display the shooting off the dribble. In fact, his first few years he was not great at it - and people would BEMOAN all the isolation plays.

Man did he get better. He's now the complete weapon. The best triple threat player in NBA history.

Well, does not matter. He destroyed them Spurs with OKC and distributed heavily off the bench.

The idea that he has matured is an insult and I’m glad you are backing him up. Remember when cp3 got traded here what he said about harden being a gym rat?

The misunderstanding of harden is so frustrating.

Harden is creating more Hardens. Imagine a team full of Hardens. Eric was showing flashes of Hardenism before he got hurt. Why are there no videos of Harden practicing

Are we going to completely, utterly, absolutely ignore the fact that the Based God's curse is no longer in effect?

It's a scientifically proven fact: When Lil b**** lifted his curse, Harden became unstoppable.

Weird comment. Players come into the league as kids. They mature. They're not worshipful deities.

Leadership is not just work ethic. Harden has continued to step up in many areas over the years in his body language in the court, the way he interacts with other players on the court, his consistency, etc.

I think the fact that he is winning over fans who used to be irritated by him is a huge credit to him. Not an insult.

The insult is that the implication is that he has been lazy in the past. He's been a gym rat. He works extremely hard on his game. He of course has deficiencies and is no deity, but laziness is not one of his deficiencies. He didn't "mature" by becoming a gym rat and pushing guys to work more. Chris Paul talked about him being a gym rat when he came here. Every offseason he works to improve or add something to his game. The NBA has twice implemented rules to take something away that he had focused on and he comes back the next year and overcomes it by expanding.

That's what I mean. I don't the insult is intentional as a swipe, but it is a discredit to the work he's done every year before to say he's "matured" because he's working hard now.
