    Jonathan Feigen tweeted the following in response to fan questions today. I think they are interesting-- they may or may not be the Rockets' true intentions but Feigen usually pretty good at reflecting at least the team's public posture:

    <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>I expect a move. RT <a href="https://twitter.com/don_dougan">@don_dougan</a>: <a href="https://twitter.com/Jonathan_Feigen">@Jonathan_Feigen</a> Could this be 1st deadline Morey doesn't make a move? Or do u anticipate something small?</p>&mdash; Jonathan Feigen (@Jonathan_Feigen) <a href="https://twitter.com/Jonathan_Feigen/statuses/430808008507932672">February 4, 2014</a></blockquote>

    Feigen also tweeted earlier that it seems unlikely that Asik can or will be dealt:

    It'll probably end up something small, like D-Mo for a pick or something.

    It'll be interesting to see what tidbits of news come out in the next 16 days. Rockets usually keep things tight lipped about what moves are conspiring behind closed doors.

    Rule out trading Lin?!?!?

    This isn't going to make the people who want Lin to be "set free" on another team happy.

    With Morey you never know.

    The Rockets will work the phones and listen up until the deadline. If a star player becomes available they will do what they can.

    Having said that, the facts are that Lin will not be dealt unless we get someone better than him, Asik will be hard to move, Parsons and Jones are not going anywhere unless the word "Love" is involved in the trade.

    Garcia and Brooks have no trade clauses, so that makes it harder. Montiejunas is possible, but he still has talent and the Rockets won't give him away.

    I expect the Rockets to add someone like Morrow, Dunleavy, Rush, Fredette or another 3 point shooter.

    This....would love Afflalo.

    A guy of the bench that can:
    * Be a scoring punch
    * Defensive player
    * Give Harden or Parsons breaks

    We just need a Bev type of player tall enough to cover the 3 or 2 spots

    Gary Neal would be a nice fit here. Bucks arent going anywhere for a while and they will most likely deal him at the deadline. We wont have to give up alot for him either.

    No, my brotha. Not awesome.

    It would be fan-m*****-f******-tastic.

    I won't get my hopes up on Aaron Afflalo, but that's the sort of direction Morey needs to go.

    Or the ones who "can't wait to see him gone". It's a lose-lose situation.

    I would love to get Brandon Rush + Rudy Gobert from the Jazz. Those are just the pieces we need to move into elite status IMO. Gobert battles D-Mo and Greg Smith for backup C minutes. Rush does what Garcia and Brewer haven't been able to do - hit the 3 and play great defense.

    Utah doesn't need another C though so not sure what they'd want.
