If they go into tax territory, they will have plenty of time to get under.

I don’t know but come playoff time if all bodies are healthy I’d put a starting 5 of

    Capela
    Tucker
    Iguodala
    Harden
    Paul

Against any team. Hell small ball would be pretty damn good too

    Tucker
    Iguodala
    Harden
    Gordon
    Paul

If they trade for Igoudala with Shumpert's Bird rights, they'll be WAY into tax territory.

This level of paranoia after one season in which Morey quite publicly tried to trade four future Round 1 picks (the cheapest assets an NBA team can have) for Jimmy Butler (which would have shattered the tax line) is just wild. To each their own, I'm just not sure why some of you continue to be fans if you think everything is a conspiracy and the GM, owner, CEO, etc. are all lying to you.

The **** people are talking about from last season.

Offer Danuel House this same deal LAST YEAR with the UNUSED MLE, he probably accepts! ... Now you basically use this year's MLE.

Feigen is Morey's mouthpiece. These types of articles are usually 100% spot on.

Most weren’t around during the dry years when Kevin Martin was our apparent savior. They’ve been spoiled by conference finals appearances and having an perennial MVP candidate on the roster that they don’t know things can definitely be a lot worse

Please post more, lol. This is so refreshing in an avalanche of bored summer posters who like conspiracies and hate critical thinking.

I’d rather have Shump for 1 year and the first than 34 y/o Iggy, TBH. Dude looked broke down at times in the Playoffs.

I just pray we don’t roll into next season with Frankenstein as our backup C. Watching him play is like nails on a chalkboard.

It's an interesting situation. Iggy has a lot of positives, but there's also a chance he gives you close to nothing next year.

True. I just think guys are frustrated to be so close but at the same time our front office just fail to make that one more move to take us over the top to win the whole thing. Either your first or last philsophy seems to really not resonate strong enough... Tillman claims that exactly is his personality but it seems to be just talk.

Bar isn't that low for us 99ers... not Kevin Martin low. Never.

We’ll see. I’m cautiously optimistic that things will shake out before opening night. If not then count me in on the anti-Tillman movement.

Would it have been nice to get another all-star this summer? Of course. But our top 7-8 guys are still among the best cores in the league and we just need two more solid rotation guys to compete with anyone.

The well is dry. Iggy is one the backside of his career. 8 years ago we would fist fight for the privilege to have on our team. Time wins all wars. Next.

I love this. Sure we could get better if all the players free to choose chose us, but we’re still really f-ing good as is.
