It should also be noted that Democrats are an enemy of Antifa.

The Nazi party didn't either when it started.... they went for a long time with good people legitimizing their violence and political position... on the left... socialism... and they shouted and beat down anyone who disagreed with their position... hmmm. I say we just leave these Antifa alone and let them do their thing and see where it ends up.

    Or maybe we know already.

    This post is confusing.

Not sure how much pre WW2 history you know but Hitler pretty much started (or took over) the Nazi party as a spy for the military infiltrating political Working class groups who were meeting at Beer Gardens. For kicks he started actually speaking there and saw an opportunity to take advantage of a group of the population that felt forgetten by their country after WW1 and yes.... that group blamed the Jews or at least Hitler used the Jews as a scapegoat at the time to fire up his base.

So yes.. the Nazi party from the start of Hitler's involvement had always used the Jews as a poltical punching bag a lot like Americans now blame Mexicans for taking the blue collar jobs but I certainly don't think Americans are evil enough to want to exterminate Mexicans but the political alignment is pretty straight forward. Jews where a political tool for Hitler from the beginning.

Regarding Antifa.... that was actually the group that fought (stupidly) against Musselini and then Hitler back then that gave Hitler the ability to consolidate power and become a dictator.

So I'm confused because it seems as though you are suggesting Antifa could become a modern day Nazi party which makes no sense because Antifa itself fought against the Nazis.

Also the Nazi party was anti Marxist to the core which is the complete opposite sure of the coin to Antifas core philosophy of a communal state. Nationalist Socialism and Marxist Leninist Communism are two far different ideologies. Why do you think the Soviets and the Germans hated each other so much back then?

Regardless not sure the point that was trying to be made there but I wanted to clarify here about the clear historical ideology of Antifa.

Yeah ok. I see great similarities here. Way to go, relate people who are against illegal immigrates to Nazi's who killed anyone who wasn't Aryan, not just Jews. Subtle differences I suppose.

You're being disingenuous by intentionally leaving out the 'illegal' part.

Good now go after the leaders of these groups and send them to Gitmo or some other dark hole.

Space.... I have lived in Texas almost my whole life as a White Guy. I know what alot of White People think about Mexican immigrants and what they broadly think of when they think of legal vs. Illegal. I know about their grievances and how they are triggered when they see or interact with Hispanics. Its an entirely different scenario than Nazi's and Jews, but I wasn't drawing the comparison from that context. I was drawing a comparison of the grievances of the white working class being exploited.

The historical context, and Hitlers use of the Jews as a means to an end with the German working party. I'm sure Hitler probably did hate Jews too, but more than anything, they were used as a political scapegoat. The Nationalist Socialist party which built the ideology of the Aryan Nation was what came out of the groundwork of the very basic political strategy of targeting the grievances of the white working class, and placing blame on a minority group. If you think that framework has no similarities to what we see in America today with White Grievance towards Mexicans than I don't know what world you are living in. Its impossible to live in Texas and not hear everyday White People make comments daily about Mexicans and to dismiss the Trump Campaigns obvious attempt to exploit that dark side of the White Working Class that can be easily exploited.

Of course everyday good ole boy Texans don't want to kill Mexican Americans, or even illegal immigrants. Most of them are what people think are good people and don't realize when they are being racist, or thinking that way when thoughts cross their mind. Many good ole boys down here have friends that are Hispanic, and treat the guys working on their lawns, etc. with a great deal of respect. (actually it was well documented that Hitler in his youth in Austria was good friends with quite a few Jews but that's another topic) That doesn't mean that there isn't the mentality set in about their grievances towards Mexicans especially as it relates to jobs, and it sure as hell doesn't mean they can't be politically exploited.

B.S. I live in Texas too as a "white guy" as if my color should matter... unless you plan on sending over some Antifa to cleanse my evil from speaking honestly. You are generalizing your entire premise to confirm your bias which is complete BS.

There are no better or hardworking people in this state(or any other) than immigrants(FWIW the majority of first generation immigrants voted for Trump). The legal immigrants I know are some of the most patriotic citizens in this country. That does not change the fact that we as a country have laws and immigration is included in those laws. Asking for these laws to be enforced does not make you a racist much less a Nazi. I agree that the laws suck and should be changed but while we sit here and call each other names instead of working on the real issues the folks in our government are laughing and getting reelected. They want us divided and the more divided the better.

staying divided over petty crap is going to be the end of us and it damn sure isn't helping any immigrants

I really don't know what is petty about placing a firm line on who gets deported such as those who only know this country as their home since childhood especially when there are explcit requirements such as no criminal record and must be pursuing a education order trade.

I've made multiple pragmatic arguments on why these SPECIFIC narrowly defined group of people would be better suited in a registered program rather than them scurry like roaches whenever ICE officials are nearby. Infact these group of individuals would probably end up having a lower crime rate and higher percentage of professionally skilled individuals relative to actual citizens due to how their consequences for ****ing up are far more severe than you or I when if we ****ed up.

It seems as if these pragmatic arguments are brushed off by those who are against DACA and this thread and seem to be attacking a strawman that we are overly emotional and want open borders.

Would you really expect Trump voters to admit that White Grievance is why they voted for Trump? Of course not. Every single one of them thinks they voted for him for pure reasons and they would never think of themselves as racists... only "law abiding citizens". Maybe some of them did vote for him for pure reasons... like infrastructure, or "tax simplification", but that doesn't mean that Trumps intentions were any different to use White Grievance in a political campaign just because you PERSONALLY feel like you voted for the right reasons.

I would expect no different responses to what I said today from the flat out "I know you are but what am I" nonsense where they think I'm just calling them a racist (I'm not) retort to the "Its not about race its about the law" response.

However... anyone objectively looking at Trump's campaign he started since Obama got elected and he championed Birtherism knows its blatantly obvious that Trump was/is exploiting white grievance as a vehicle to launch his political career. What I don't know yet though is if Trump voters are Victims to a con or Complicit. I dunno but I tend to think more victim than complicit.

I was complicit in understanding that I'm voting for Hillary knowing that she used a private email server. I'll admit that. Would a Trump voter ever admit to the obvious fact that Trump used White Grievance as a vehicle for political ascension?

Not to compare Trump to Hitler again (because Trump is far from Hitler which is something Republicans would never say about Obama 8 years ago), but were those working class citizens in the Beer Garden in Germany in the 30's victims to Hitlers con or were they complicit? If you walked in that Beer Garden before Adolf started stirring up the crowd and talked to them about what they cared about over a Kolsh it probably wasn't about killing Jews. They were probably just a little more pissed off than normal about their lives and the opportunity was there to exploit their anger.

    .....

My point here is not to call Trump voters racists. Its to point out political manipulation of the pissed off working class voter. Trump is far different than Hitler in many ways, but not in this area, and its blatantly obvious beyond denial at this point.

This is what happens when you spend too much time on wingnut sites and/or listen to too much talk radio.

If you do not realize that the SPLC is a completely partisan far-left hate group, then it is you that has spent too much time reading, listening to or watching leftist wingnut nonsense.
