T_J, I had you pegged as a Gordon Gekko fan. Capt. Quint in Jaws William Munny in Unforgiven Warden McCluskey in Natural Born Killers Donny in The Big Lebowski Col. Kilgore in Apocalypse Now Lawrence in Office Space Lawrence in Lawrence of Arabia
A brilliant movie, no doubt, and a fantastic character. However, Michael Douglas didn't have to stretch himself too much to play that part. That's my impression of how he behaves in real life. Kinda like Jack Nicholson in the Shining, or Courtney Love in that movie that she played a drug addict. That's not acting, that's just being yourself.
Or Jack Nicholson in any movie. But dayum..I love that character. Doesn't matter which movie he's in.
I like Samuel L. Jackson in any movie from XXX to Fresh to Pulp Fiction to School Daze to Goodfellas and so on and so on........ "Anything lost can be found again, except for time wasted." "Your queen is just a pawn with some fancy moves, nothing more. "

Yeah Goodman is great in all of their movies. He cracks me up as the coach in Revenge of the Nerds as well.

" Brothers....three weeks from now I will be harvesting my crops, imagine where you will be and it will be so. Hold the line and stay with me. "Do you know how you got that dent, in your top lip? Way back, before you were born, I told you a secret, then I put my finger there and I said "Shhhhh!""

E. Lawrence in Lawrence of Arabia 8) Dr. Strangelove in Dr. Strangelove ( Etc.) 9) Atticus Finch in To Kill A Mockingbird 10) Ghandi in Ghandi
Eargh! Or even Gandhi...the problem with hunting and pecking is that you're looking down at the keys, so you can get letter orsers mixed up and not even realize it.
I knew I never should have started this: Now others are popping up in my head... Patton, from Patton, Thomas Moore from A Man For All Seasons, Bud White from L.A. Confidential, J.J. Gittes from Chinatown, etc. etc.
Rick Deckard in Blade Runner. And several others, but I wanted to get this dude in. Ford's best role, in my opinion.
