Well, your favourite at the moment. Mine would be Loki in Dogma. He's the ex-Angel of Death, he's cool, he's violent, yet boyish, goofy, naive and accessible all at the same time. Not opposed to drinking either, and unlike Bartleby isn't whiny.
Rick Blaine in Casablanca- Bogie's a tough bastich, but sensitive, capable of the full spectrum of emotion.
Any Jason Lee character from any Kevin Smith movie Jason Lee is just the man, is my favorite actor, but if I had to choose one character, I'd pick Brodie from Mallrats. He just didnt give a damn. He was one lazy b*stard, loved his video games/comic Books, and did whatever it took to get his love back. Kinda sound like me, other than loving comics.
Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean. He's abso-freakin-lutely hillarious. I crack up every time I see it. He's also great in Crybaby, Edward Scissorhands, Benny & Joon, What's Eating Gilbert Grape.... Come to think of it, any character played by Johnny Depp is probably my favorite character.
John Goodman as Charlie Meadows in Barton Fink I like that he is so likable and horrific at the same time. Same movie Steve Buscemi as Chet.
There are really too many to list but here are a few of my favorites off the top of my head. The Dude - Big Lebowski Tuco - Good the Bad and the Ugly Dr. Strangelove - Dr. Strangelove Jake Gittes - Chinatown William Munny - The Unforgiven
Darth Vader is a good choice. Tom Hanks in A League of Their Own. the scene where he kisses that ugly chaperone lady when he's drunk and then freaks out is so damn funny. Neo in Matrix Reloaded. Tom Arnold in True Lies.
wow...great question! I loved Jake, Ethan Hawke's character in "Training Day" Costner as Elliott Ness in the untouchables Indiana Jones Robin Williams in Good Will Hunting i suppose my favorite was that guy that Jim Cavizel played in the Passion...but that's a bit different!
Since Darth Vader is your favorite, Stupid and IROC, maybe you can help me with something. Out of the five Star Wars movies made so far I have seen only none of them. I was asking a group of people the other day in which movie does Darth finally tell Luke that he is his father? One person said "Return of the Jedi" and another said "The Empire Strikes Back" so which is it? Sorry for the derailment
Empire Strikes Back go rent that movie by the way. go NOW. don't walk...RUN to your nearest video store.
Yes it is Empire Strikes Back but do not go to the video store and rent it. Wait until September and buy the trilogy on DVD. I almost pee my pants with anticipation when I think about these FINALLY BEING ON DVD!!!!!!
