I still love Francis to death. Same with Mobley. Neither of those guys technically count anymore, I guess.
There is something special about Arenas. He is fanatically dedicated to basketball, he appreciates what the NBA has done for him and he believes in being gracious to fans and giving them their money's worth. I know he says a lot of crazy nonsense but some of his comments are dead on. The fact he talks so much and loves attention makes people think he's more selfish than he really is IMO. You mentioned in the other thread liking Chris Paul. I can't stand the guy because he is one of the biggest floppers in the NBA. I detest how he likes to cut in front of players while dribbling to draw cheap fouls. One time I want somebody to fall right on him and push his face into the floor. Plus we all remember the Julius Hodge incident.
I gotta say LBJ... it's like watching Dream play the 3. Totally dedicated to his craft, otherworldly athleticism and - this is big- defensive intensity. Mr. No-Lay-Up.
I agree about Gilbert Arenas, and if you play basketball and you're trying to make it you know what he went through to be where he is today. I love his personality, I don't really look up to his style of play but his personality that league didn't have yet. He's open minded in his interviews and honest. That's why I like him, because he's special guy.
LeBron James and Deron Williams. Hopefully, Artest won't return to this list after being on it for multiple years
-I'll go with non-superstars to make it interesting (in no particular order): Gerald Wallace, Matt Bonner, Jeff Foster, Ronnie Brewer (i know, i know), Grant Hill, Trevor Ariza, Jeff Green, Rodney Stuckey, Leon Powe, David Lee -some rooks i like Jason Thompson, Courtney Lee, Mo Speights, Rudy Fernandez, Mario Chalmers, George Hill
pains me to admit it, but its deron williams i was a big fan of his when he was at illinois and thought he was the ideal PG I so badly wanted him on the rockets, but alas he went to the jazz. i really hate the jazz even more now for drafting a player i really like.
As a point guard player in my team, I always see myself upon Chris Paul on how he plays. He is just a perfect definition of running a point guard position. I don't follow his personality though. I have my own.
steve nash I liked a lot Kidd, but now I dont, he was an incredible player. chris paul dwight howard KG
Without a single doubt in my mind JOSH SMITH. The guy is an absolute beast on the court, that has an impact so powerful he can get the fans of the opposing team to cheer for one of his plays in their arena.
No, as a Duke fan, I can confidently say that Hansbrough is nothing special in college and will suck in the NBA.
Not in order, here are the players that I like who are not from our team: 1) Lebron James 2) Dwayne Johnson I mean Wade 3) Dwight Howard 4) Chris Paul 5) Peja Stojacovic 6) Steve Nash 7) Josh Smith 8) Gilbert Arenas (he really is something special) Fav All Time: Michael Jordan
