Ive had a lot of different ice cream, but i can't get enough of Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla. Best Ice Cream in the world hands down. What about you guys?
Blue Bell - Rocky Road. Can't find it anywhere up here though. Other than that, Sticky Toffee Pudding (or something like that) by Hagen Daz (I know I butchered the spelling) I think.
Blue Bell peppermint is good and is only available seasonally. Blue Bell is the best ice cream no doubt.
Dulce De Leche, Haagen-Daazs Milk caramel ice creams are so delicious. Buttered Pecan, Blue Bell Classic. Cheesecake Ice Cream, Oscar's Creamery(ice cream shop) Cinnamon ice creams.
Agree. I feel sorry for my cousins that come in every now and then and eat cartons of it and then call me saying they miss it.
Haagen Dazs Chocolate (or Chocolate Chocolate Chip) NOT Belgian Chocolate. Any of their ice creams that use the same chocolate that is used in their regular "Chocolate" are incredible. I've never been one of those "chocolate makes me happy" people at all.. in fact, no food has actually given me noticeable/discernable feelings of happiness suddenly. Until this one.
oh, some other generally good ones are Cinnamon at Amy's Coffee by Haagen Dazs I agree on Homemade Vanilla by Blue Bell
Definately have to go with the Dulce de Leche from Häagen-Dazs. I have never tasted a better store bought ice-cream.
Ben & Jerry's Cherry Garcia. Oddly enough, I think the low-fat Frozen Yogurt is actually my favorite flavor of the two. I think the Cherry Garcia is the only product I can say I prefer the diet or low/non fat product to the original product. It's bizarre. I think the difference is that the low-fat has more of a cherry flavor, which I prefer, while the regular has more of a chocolate taste.
My first job was an ice cream store in Sharpstown Mall and even though I was only getting $2.50/hour I pretty much ate all the ice cream that I wanted. I came up with all kinds of different things that I liked and I made shakes with pretty much every flavor we had and mixtures. My favorite shake surprisingly to me was with banana ice cream. Second favorite was with Pistachio Almond, but I'd have to drink it with a straw and eat the almonds at the end. My favorite flavor back then was Pralines 'n Cream. I've been eating Blue Bell all of my life but for some reason I never could really like Homemade Vanilla. It's different than regular vanilla and that's why so many like it, but it never worked for me as well as other flavors. I lived in Brenham for about four years and I never took the tour of the factory. After all of these years when given a choice between all flavors that I've had of ice cream, today that choice would be coffee ice cream. I've always liked the flavor and just recently I've decided that it's been my most consistent favorite since I was a kid. I'm actually eating a bowl of Coffee ice cream right now.
