änglagård: Swedish progressive rock. They sound like a band from the first wave of progressive rock (Yes, King Crimson, ELP).

Three very different and yet similar songs IMHO. I can sing along to the first 2 although I have no idea what I'm saying.

Stereolab is basically an English band, but Sadier sings in French half the time.

    Japan, RIP Nujabes :(

Jamaica. I started listening to dub after getting into drum & bass.

Oh geez... way too many to post here. But here's a sampler.

Within Temptation is a Dutch band that sounds a lot like Evanescence, except better. I love almost every song on their "Silent Force" album.

Nightwish is another symphonic metal band... these guys are Finnish, though.

I don't actually like most of Gackt's music, but this ballad of his is just gorgeous. Used as the ending theme for my favorite anime, Texhnolyze.

Three songs written by Yoko Kanno for the Ghost in the Shell TV series. Love 'em all.

Ending theme for Gundam Seed, titled "Anna ni Issho Datta no ni" (whatever the hell that means).

    Pie Jesu by Taku Iwasaki.

I could go on, but I'll leave it there.
