Regardless of what you think about the video, the word 'offensive' is not in the accompanying article.

Pretty much. I don't think it's a good look for the university, but the sorority is just telling people about what they're really about. So, I don't much appreciate the censorship, whether it was overt or just administrative pressure. If the university doesn't like what they're about, they should change things, not just try to hide it and pretend like the sororities actually value academic achievement, philanthropy or individuality. Because they don't.
If they had shown a bunch of these girls studying in the library, the same people that were outraged by this would've been outraged that these girls were flexing their "white privilege" all over the nerds. This "Hot Take" Internet culture is a bane on existence.
Meh Just a whole bunch of white girls. . . huge fricking soro If the woman was offended. . she was offended I cannot say one way or the other I didn't watch the whole thing but . . . its just a recruitment video seen better. . .seen worse. . . . Rocket River
Did the university make Apha Phi take down the video and their social media content or did they take it down themselves?
I don't mind that someone thinks the video is shallow and stupid and portrays these women as airheaded sorority girls. The video IS shallow and stupid and they probably ARE airheaded sorority girls. What I don't like is that every time someone doesn't LIKE something, the tone becomes "WE MUST DESTROY THIS!!!!" How about roll your eyes, make your jokes, and move along? Heaven forbid the social media cartel find something from this journalist's life that isn't perfect.
