Of all the kids I would know who went to my high school, one of the bigger busts had to be part of mine.

Wouldnt that have made him ineligible to play college ball? Or did he play for free?

Dude we have players on our roster that haven't played this season, what makes you think that we gonna give him chance..?

Actually I'm really wondering about players like him or Luther head or even Trevor Ariza: what's so damn hard about dribbling the ball? Ball handling are skills which can be learned by anyone. Sure you won't have elite handles, but for example this guy already has pretty good hops he can just jump the rest of the way after dribbling to the paint. As professional basketball players guys like should have worked on this aspect fo their game long ago. Same thing with shooting, you can't have elite shooting ability but if you work on your shot your FG% is guaranteed to go up.

Well those guys are guards, while Alexander is a small power forward who has to play small forward. Not quite the same thing.

It's not as simple as just practicing either....you have to take into consideration the size of a player, their hands, mechanics, etc....for some it's easier than others.

I compared him to an overhyped Dan Langhi coming out of the draft, I think Langhi had a serviceable, minor career in Phoenix after his rookie contract with us, this dude, not so much.....

I say this dude is the illegitimate son of Brandon Lee. This dude would have been very marketable in the Taiwanese market.. Hornets are definitely on a cash cow.

Wait, I thought athletic white guys don't get drafted in the lottery if they're white? Joe probably would have been the #1 Pick if he was Black.

Wasn't Joe Alexander an average player with above average athleticism? He benefited from a break out NCAA Tournament (or was it just a break out end of the college season?) and then someone drafted him on potential.

Already sitting down. But I'm just poking fun at the folks that said Chase Bud would have been a much higher pick than originally, if he was black. Which is completely ridiculous.

Yay! I got one right for a change...

Before he was drafted I kept saying he had no NBA game.

I'd give myself a big pat on the back except that I predicted OJ Mayo would be right behind him as a bust
