LOL OP is based on a post in RealGM about a poster who "claims" that he saw it on the espn ticker, yet I don't see any mention of the trade from any online resource including ESPN.

 

He would be a nice piece to have going forward...... salary and skills match, and could be a nice jolt off the bench for us.

The Rockets are under the cap so they can take his salary back without sending players out. But I think we are at 15 players capacity already.

In any case tho, I think the Rockets atleast send a body or 2 out in a trade for Neal, rather than waive a player and eat his salary.

+ those 2nd round picks, or any picks for that matter are really valuable to the Rockets.

(This trade it fake, for now, could very well happen in the near future tho)

 

No trade exceptions, and the Rockets are a few million bucks over the cap.

A trade for Neal would most likely need to include either D-Mo or Casspi along with a guy like Brewer or would need to be Brewer and TWO of Smith, Canaan or Covington. Under either scenario, I don't see multiple picks coming from us as well.
