Byes, I'm thinking about using ESPN to run our league this year. It seems like we can customize it to our scoring system pretty much exactly. Only thing missing is the split week option. Am playing around with it now and will let you know how it goes. Will have a hard look at Yahoo as well, but I think I like the ESPN interface a bit better than Yahoo at this point.

    Sounds good.

So you're going to have to manually enter each team?

    Hey everyone,

I have set up the league on ESPN, and have issued e-mail invites to everyone. Please join as soon as possible and familiarize yourselves with the interface. Here is the link to the league:

    http://games.espn.go.com/flb/leagueoffice?leagueId=160439&seasonId=2014

    A couple of things:

    - The scoring system is exactly the same. ESPN is very customizable in that sense.
    - I don't have control over player eligibility anymore, so please review the ESPN player list to determine eligibility. http://games.espn.go.com/flb/tools/projections?&display=alt
    - I changed the UI spot to UT. I had to do this because there are some players who are DH-only eligible (I.e. David Ortiz, Victor Martinez, etc.) and cannot be put into any position other than UT.
    - All other starting positions are the same: C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, CI, MI, 5xOF, UT, 7 pitchers (5SP/2RP or 4SP/3RP)
    - There is no split week option. Therefore, each game period is 1 week long, running Monday to Sunday. The regular season is 20 weeks, and each playoff match is 2 weeks long, just like we have always done.
    - I switched up the divisions randomly by drawing slips of paper out of a hat. I figure we'll do this every year as a fun little way to shake things up. :)

We can continue drafting on FanStar. I will manually enter the results on ESPN as we go.

Looks great. Thanks for getting it set up. Old system was 1 week for the first round of playoffs, but honestly I like this better.
