LOL. I don't think I can make this more obvious without resorting to Dora the Explorer metaphors.

I cannot look into the mind of someone who clearly has some mental issues.

So you are saying that an Islamic Caliphate is a democracy? Spell it out.

First of all, when you quote, you need to provide a link to the source.

Secondly, what is your own opinion? You quoted from some unknown source.

    Let's sum up:

    1) Northside Storm blames the USA for countries like Afghanistan, Pakistan, Saudi-Arabia not being morally superior to the USA.

    2) Northside Storm thinks the Muslim Brotherhood and the PKS in Indonesia "embrace democracy and propel it forward"

    3) Northside Storm thinks an Islamic Caliphate would be a democracy.

    Look it up yourself.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Islamic_democracy

I didn't say a caliphate would be a democracy, I merely cited a source that said it could...and that it was theoretically compatible with democracy, and not just some big scarecrow your paranoid mind is throwing out.

but hey, what are details to someone who comes in and makes up what you think based on ???.

You defining rules for a debate is HILARIOUS though. Don't be overstepping your bounds, you've only gone about one or two posts without resorting to pure personal insults.

How is it theoretically compatible with democracy to have one religion favored over other religions, with different rights for members of different religions?

You know, I was going to argue with you on this, but I'll spare the board another set of long .gif outrage posts and simply say that you have created your own scarecrow, and that if you don't think Israel violates the rights of non-Jewish citizens, what makes you think Muslim countries embracing the same philosophy will?

    You should educate yourself:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dhimmi

You should also read this link:

If you have the time, watch the undercover video posted there. Mathloom previously posted that here.

yeah, being a Dhimmi is so bad.

A dhimmī (Arabic: ذمي‎ ḏimmī IPA: [ˈðɪmmiː]), (collectively أهل الذمة ahl al-ḏimmah/dhimmah, "the people of the dhimma") is a non-Muslim subject of a Muslim state. Linguistically, the word means "one whose responsibility has been taken".[1] This has to be understood in the context of the definition of state in Islam. Dhimma allows rights of residence in return for taxes.[2] According to scholars, Dhimmis have the same social responsibilities and rights as Muslims.[3][4] They are excused or excluded from specific duties assigned to Muslims, and otherwise equal under the laws of property, contract and obligation.

Would you like to be a Dhimmi?

Even Mathloom disagrees with your nonsense.

Do you know how ridiculous your argument is?

Would I have liked to have been an African-American in 1850? Uh, let me think about that.

What is ridiculous is you trying to make posts which defend a theoretical Islamic Caliphate, saying that it could be a democracy and that being a Dhimmi wouldn't be so bad.

In your desperate attempts to argue with someone who has the facts on his side and is easily your intellectual superior, you have been thoroughly embarrassing yourself.

"Arguing" (more correctly: toying) with you is like clubbing baby seals.

You are the one on the right.

Here are other conundrums worth pondering for ATW---

Are Western democracies prone to slavery?
Are Jewish states prone to genocide of nearby differing peoples, as preordained by their holy book?
Is the Earth in the middle of the universe?

Being a Dhimmi can't be as bad as being a slave was.

You brought an argument and historical evidence...from the Middle Ages to justify how Islamic democracies would function in the modern age. I am literally shaking in laughter right now.

If you are "literally shaking in laughter" at some posts in the D&D forum, you clearly have issues going beyond the inaccurate and weird posts you have been making over the last few hours.

I recommend that you log off and go get some fresh air. Maybe ask your mom to give you some food.

Ohoh, gotta take your big boy pants away again.

The points, ATW, not the person.
