Can't wait for the book spilling everything to come out in a few years. The NBA can use another scandal.
Watch it be Lauren Holtkamp that gets the nod. She's been involved in a couple of controversial calls over the past year. It's a win/win/win situation for the NBA. Go ahead and try and blame her. NBA counters with the gender discrimination/targeting card. It's all a perfect storm to keep the legacy running.
I've said it time and time again, but to me, Tony Brothers is FAR, FAR worse than Crawford. Crawford has his eccentricities, and definitely makes himself bigger than the game, but Brothers is just downright incompetent and just a total **** about it.
SportsCenter - 3 mins · Longtime NBA referee Joey Crawford is retiring immediately due to a knee injury. He worked a record 374 playoff games - including 50 NBA Finals games - over his 39-season career. EDIT - http://www.nbasocial.com/blog/news/joey-crawford-will-retire-immediately-due-to-right-knee-injury/ One of the most recognized faces in the NBA, Joey Crawford, will retire as of today due to a right knee injury. Crawford has been one of the most recognized referees in the NBA. He has refereed for 39 years and has worked through 2561 regular-season games which is the second of all-time next to 2015 Hall of Famer, Dick Bavetta. Many have criticized Joey for weird foul calls and bad calls, but no one can deny his greatness on the court and we thank him for that: I was lucky. For 35 years or so it was only like, a calf [strain] here or there. But the last two years, my 38th and 39th, it just broke down on me. What’re ya gonna do? You just move on. —Joey Crawford via NBA.com

Finally! NBA should've forced him out of the job long time ago. The fact he wasn't shows he has dirt on big names in the league or else they would have. 100% sure about that!
Don't know if your being sarcastic....but they play at least 4 games in the finals. So 50 Finals Games in 39 years is definitely possible.
