Agreed, I'd rather spend the monies acquiring a very good 4, and then solidifying our bench.

It will be crazy not sign Dwight unless you had no confident him being health.

Otherwise wait one more year for LBJ, but that could be a pipe-dream.

Question: Wouldn't a sign and trade to get Dwight that extra year close the money gap tremendously?

Dwight does not get that extra year or money in a S&T after the season.

That's kind of what I'm worried about. I have had surgery for a herniated disc a a year ago, and now the pain is slowly coming back. Imagine how it is for a professional athlete.

This is a high risk-high reward move. But despite all that, Rockets need to go for it if they have the chance. The chance to get another superstar in the next 2-3 years is very slim.

    Ditto

Terrible free shooter? Damaged goods? History of injuries? DAMAGED GOODS?

    NO WAY Jose, please.

Just see how Terence Jones or D-Mo develops or draft a young big man who can block shots and rebound.

Pretty sure T-Mac never got back surgery. There was therapy for his back and knee surgeries, but not back surgery - they didn't take a knife to his back.

back injuries are no joke, especially for athletes such as Howard who relies so much on his athleticism. It would be hard to say no, but I'd much rather wait for an all-star caliber PF.

For everyone who wants Howard...when he loses games do to free throws, cries about the ball, quits on his team and etc etc...do not come on here to change our stance on him!!! Let me ask you guys a question: What is the reason for you guys to want this guy on your team???

    Agree completely.

Howard shouldn't be on Morey's radar.
