Don't overrate Asik THAT much..... Thats crazy if you think they would give up both. I would be happy with Asik and KPap for Henson and Illyasova

Maybe we can expand the trade to include other pieces and snag Anderson or Ilyasova without even giving up Asik?

Better make a nice trade, get Asik involved and try to get Sanders.

Seriously, what world are some of y'all living in? Larry Sanders is as untouchable as the term suggests for the Bucks. Not. Going. To. Happen.

Yeah, stop being that guy -- Mr.-preposterous-trade-proposal-guy.

This thread is about Papwhateverhisnameis and some of you are talking about Larry Sanders, Ersan Ilyasova and Ryan Anderson! Stop.

Young euro players who haven't played for a club outside their home country tend to be on the lower end, eg 200k to 600k/yr.

If I'm Morey, that's EXACTLY what I'm doing.

Then you package Ilyasova + Asik and very little else for Aldridge.

    Lillard
    Matthews
    Batum
    Ilyasova
    Asik

That lineup is more competitive than Portland's current lineup, and Ilyasova and Asik are both younger than LMA, which fits in better for "timing" their roster.

Not sure what package can make this happen though. The Bucks would have to like Lin and another asset from the Rockets besides Papan.

Remember that Kostas' agent was pushing for him to be traded from Portland and that the Knicks, for one, reportedly offered multiple second rounders for him, which leads me to believe that his trade value isn't quite as low as some people here seem to believe. He's one of the best Euro prospects, has an affordable buyout and apparently wants to play in the NBA.

I'm not sure it makes sense for the Rockets to sign him this year, given that it's probably unlikely he'd accept a minimum deal and the the Rockets would be otherwise limited to the room MLE, which limits you to a 2-year deal.

So... you're probably limited to either trading him or keeping his rights, with the hope that Olympiacos doesn't sign him to an extension with a huge buyout, so you can sign him to a 3 or 4-year deal with a portion of the MLE next year.

Doubt this happens. Even if Atlanta matches, Bucks still hold the rights to Brandon Jennings as a restricted FA. The way this market is going, I doubt that Jennings gets an outrageous offer that the Bucks cannot match. He may accept the 1 year qualifying offer to return, but Milwaukee will have their starting PG.

    This part in the article:

"According to the latest CBA, NBA teams can pay up to 545.000 dollars and the rest will be paid by the player."

Any international player has to pay this out of pocket when coming over to the NBA in a buyout? Am i reading this wrong? Someone please explain...

Last time I can remember Wolfel tweeting about the Bucks being interested in a Rockets player: http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=221795

20-30 minutes later Woj broke that Dalembert was traded to the Bucks. Itshappening.jpg :) ?
