wow. He said it in tv?
He should resign after the tournament. If one of his star players says this publicly he clearly doesn't have even the lockeroom.
Also the guy who was responsible for choosing Turkey over the other teams should resign as well.
I hope the german press is doing its job and exposes them.

Fleming is gone anyways, will be an assistant to Malone with the Nuggets.

But yeah, I really hope the whole executive gets lost, too. German media unfortunately doesn't really care about basketball, so that's not going to be a big deal.

Losing to Serbia cause of a game winner, missing a possible game winner versus Italy, losing to Spain with 1 point. Gotta be ****ting me.

But the future doesn't look too bad. Schröder will be great.

They were trying. At least Dirk did.

President of german basketball was just on tv, journalist didn't even criticise him for picking Turkey or questioning his decisions, he even said they'll continue with Fleming when everybody knows he's leaving for Denver. All you need to know about basketall here.

 Well to tell you the truth I try to NOT to watch Spain matches because I get angry and want to punch them in the face.
Dirks last international carreer ended at the hands of Rudy "the b****" Fernandez.

Shame Shame! All close matches and Germany is MUCH better team than everyone of the group D.

Yeah try to look at the bright side. There are german people here talking about the Eurobasket. People went to the stadium and new talents are coming up and next year will be three german NBAers and the german championship is so improved.
    That's Dirk's legacy.

    Damn I jinxed them.

So I will post the pairs now for everyone who will be interested to watch.

    Saturday 12/9
    France - Turkey
    Latvia - Slovenia
    Spain - Poland
    Greece - Belgium

    Sunday 13/9
    Serbia - Finland
    Croatia - Chech Republic
    Israel - Italy
    Lithuania - Georgia

The most interesting matchups from Saturday are France -Turkey and I guess Poland - Spain.
And from Sunday Croatia -Chech and Israel -Italy.

Turkey and Poland are underdogs but can win because neither France nor Spain have appeared well so far. And Italy isn't a real team so if don't shoot like crazy Israel has chances to steal the win.

    What are you talking about?
Appart from our opening game against Finland where we had a bad 3rd quarter, we beat every other team, even the almighty Polish.

Beating Turkey won't be a stroll in the park but not as tough as advertised.

Plus we have home court advantage.

Well that was Dirk's last dance. Goodbye Dirk you will be missed.

We will play France at Saturday. Will be very tough game, i don't expect to win but hoping pull the surprise. We need to go 2016 Olympics.
