[ESPN's Chad Ford] Draft grades: Evaluating every team

    HOUSTON ROCKETS

    GRADE: A

    Round 1: None

    Round 2: Jermaine Taylor (32, obtained from Wizards), Sergio Llull (34, obtained from Thunder), Chase Budinger (44, obtained from Pistons)

    Analysis: The Rockets spent millions buying up picks, but I like their haul. Taylor is a great athlete and scorer, Llull has shown a lot of promise in Europe and Budinger was a steal this low in the draft. All three second-round picks might end up sticking, which would be a rarity.

    I feel like Daryl Morey is a garbage collector (I am not saying the players he picked are garbage). He picks up what ever people don't want/need at 2nd round. It's like everytime at the begining of the second round, he would go "lol, I can't believe nobody has pick x, y, z player yet. let me scoop them up". And yup, they all turn out to be solid players.
