I think artest should get a couple free throws to start game 3 and we move on... I don't particularly want Kobe suspended but at the same time there has to be some penalty for the 2 elbows he's thrown. Artest has already been thrown out for much less, we should get the chance for a couple free points.

This is not about suspension on Kobe,
this is about referee's calls in next 2 home court games.

If majority of people think yes to the question,
referee will feel pressure and help us in next 2 games.

who cares if it gives them an excuse...its not like if the rockets get past l.a and win the trophy, we are gonna sit back and say "gosh..this is so awesome that we won the championship, i just wish i could fully enjoy it without the knowledge that we beat the lakers without kobe " ;)

I didn't know Navada was crazy about Lakers until last time I traveled to Las Vegas during Xmas. Lakers and Celtics game I think.

The gamblers were cheering like crazy everytime Lakers scored. It really surprised me.

hahaa it's changed now only Texas is the odd ball of the states who wants a clean game. I like the grit hustle and extra emotions of the playoffs.

I know this isnt really news to anyone on this board, but I've never been so fed up with the evident bias present in the reporting of the sports media. Derrick Fishers elbow/shoulder/headbutt to Scola is being crowned as 'gutsy' and 'reflects on the tough playing style that Fisher brings everynight.' Fishers play was asinine, childish, and most importantly, dangerous. How would people be regarding this play had Scola experienced a concussion? he was completely blindsided by one of the bulkiest pg's in the league.

Kobe's elbow is 'just part of the game' to many and it seems to be a consensus at this point that he wont get suspended. What if the tables had been turned and Ron elbowed Kobe in the neck? would Kobe have been kicked out the game and received a foul? Would we even be ASKING whether Ron should be suspended? Kobe has a history of dirty play- elbows to people's face and waving his hand to hit guys after his jump shots; just ask Raja Bell and he'll tell you whats up.

The most frustrating part of all this is that its the Rockets who supposedly lost their composure and not the Lakers who had home court advantage, were up in the game, and had no reason to collapse mentally like they did.

If Kobe isnt suspended, I am going to lose all respect for David Stern (what little i had anyways)....
