the problem with Chandler is that he's quick to fire shots, once he switches over. Dallas may be cleaner, but it's not something you say about the city that welcomed you and was your home for 3 years. There are other answers he could give, if he cared, but he doesn't, which is why i don't believe all the PR spins he's tried to pull to save face for signing with Dallas.
This is what I'm saying! Players that have had worse stints in Houston haven't traded the barbs that Chander has.. It's pretty shocking hearing and reading all the things he has said.
If you only look at Parsons and his replacement, the Rockets made out better. Losing Asik and Lin had nothing to do with Cuban.
The idiocy of a few fans really amuse me sometimes. We replaced Parsons with ARIZA. How is this a bad thing in any way, shape, or form? He is a better shooter, a better defender, and paid substantially less, plus he won't try to go all Jordan like how Parsons inexplicably does at times and likewise, we won't have to keep seeing that sorry result. This is a GREAT replacement, especially seeing how Parsons have become surprisingly whiny. As for Asik, people seem to forget that we picked up a potentially really great draft pick for him, you know... the type we can flip for players like Harden? As for Lin, everyone that had average intelligence knew he was a goner. His clock started ticking the moment we got Harden, who does everything Lin does (sans D), but better. Anyone not stupid KNEW it would cost to dump him and the fact that we gave up only a low first rounder does not hurt as much as people think it will.
Can't wait until the regular season starts if not for the fact that I won't have to hear updates about this attention-seeking clown anymore. Please just go to Dallas with Kylie Jenner and your tightest fitting Buffalo jeans and keep our name out of your mouth.
Parsons' production was not worth the price he was asking. Sure we should have signed him for less during the season (just speculating because his agent Dan Fegan was probably asking something short of a king's ransom for Parsons' new contract extension) but as a team if management is able to sign free agents on the caliber of LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony and or Chris Bosh, any reasonably functioning organization has to do it. If it's true that Parsons was offered a 2 year "max deal" from the Rockets and he chose to take a 3 year max deal, good for Parsons. I would have chosen that deal 100 times out of 100. Your first pay day and you don't take the most money that's offered to you? At the end of the day, as great as a championship sounds. Money is really the main motivation for these players to play basketball.
Hate to say it but I agree.. Downtown Houston is kinda lame. Plenty of bums everywhere and also dirty.. But the thing is, houston kicks a lot of cities asses when it comes to "stuff to do" outside of dtown. Houston is so big that downtown isn't really the "it" place to be
Having lived in both cities, Downtown Dallas is pretty much the same as Downtown Houston. Now Uptown Dallas on the other hand.... is a perfect fit for Chandler. Fancy cars, bottle service, the uppity scene and a bunch of 20 year old gold digging chicks.
Seems to suggest Morey will target a stretch-4 this year in a trade instead of a PG. He probably thinks Beverly is a better PG fit than TJones is a PF fit.
Just came in to say that I saw it was a Mark Stein article, and then promptly refused to read any of it.
