Do you just make claims without any statistical backing?

    Uh....last week:

Francis v. Sonics - 23 pts, 10 assist/five turnovers, nine rebounds, three steals

Francis v. Blazers - 17 pts, six assist/five turnovers, five rebounds, two steals

    Francis v. Warriors - 13 points, 12 assist/three turnovers, 11 rebounds, two steals

Francis v. Kings - 38 points, nine assist/two turnovers, five rebounds

Francis v. Clippers - eight points, three assist/three turnovers, four rebounds, two steals

    Total (avg.) - 19.8 points, 8.0 assist/3.6 turnovers, 7.0 rebounds, 1.8 steals

So in three of the five games last week Francis had nine or more assist (twice, 10 or more); the Clipper game he and Yao weren't needed much so those stats were in limited time. Compared to his season averages Francis' scoring was down, but so was his turnovers. And his assist and rebounds were up.

How did Francis go back to "old habits?"

*lol* Yeah, and also on the Lakers board on espn.com the LA fans are constantly blaming him for his lack of defense.
