Deron Williams can still be a good contributor and he can help you win, but that salary though...

Same story for Joe Johnson.

Both players can help the Rockets but neither is really worth the salary and it would cripple you from other moves.

 

Would Houston consider getting Garnett, if available ?

 

He's likely been available for a couple of seasons now. Unfortunately his salary is prohibitive.

You know what's funny? You could say that for Dwill, Lopez and Johnson as well!

 

Kevin Garnett would be a good pickup. The connection he has with Mchale may be what gets that done.

 

Wouldn't mind me some KG, but those other three will not be donning a Rockets jersey. They simply have horse***** contracts we cannot afford

Lopez is news but these other guys have been on the trade market for years.

 

Love to steal KG, but he is way too expensive! TPE is only around 8M and his contract is 12M.

Would it be messed up to trade Terry (5M) and whatever we can get for the TPE (8M) for KG (12) and Alan Anderson (1M)? lolol

I'd love KG, or Johnson. Everything is good about KG coming here but the fact him & Dwight HATE each other is a issue to me

 

Amare, Dally, and Acy get the Knicks DWill and Lopez. Then all Brooklyn has to do is clean off Joe Johnson for more expirings and possibly a pick, go to the lottery and start rolling from scratch with their salary cap. Knicks, on the other hand, forego the lottery and go steaming to the playoffs with DWill, Shump, Hardaway, Lopez, and Melo.

And the big Russian sells the Nets for about $3 billion and the world keeps spinning.

 

Interested in KG.... would consider Lopez for the right deal.

Good luck moving the other two.

What exactly is the Nets' major malfunction this year?

I haven't watched any of their games (just doesn't seems like an interesting League Pass option) but should they be at least .500 in a bad Eastern Conference?
