Maybe the first presentation was all that was needed. I am hopeful that LA will want to do a SNT and not leave the Blazers empty handed. I believe it will take a 3 team deal with the Sixers being involved to get something done, IF LA decides to help out the Blazers.

They will be given our frontcourt depth. The real question is will be sit out B2Bs all season(ala Wade a couple years ago) or will he be able to go every night?

Quick question... even though the mavs are a longshot do they still have caproom for a max or close to max offer to Aldridge?

DMo played much better defensively than Capela. Dmo was by far or best option after Howard. No one handles the pick and roll better. And DMo in spite of his lack of rim protection still was able to stay in front of his guy most times.

Well, either Houston is already out of the running or he is giving these guys one more chance to change his mind. Besides, he's probably already made up his mind where he wants to go and it would take something that would surprise him to get him to change his mind.

I don't think Morey held anything back in his meeting that he would need a second one, it would just be a rehash.

No. They've got very little caproom left. Plus they still have to worry about signing a PG(unless Cuban is insane enough to think Barea can start) and a bench.

DMO was very good as a man defender last year but was mediocre protecting the basket, teams were not afraid to drive the lane against DMO. Capela was a far better rim protector at times but really was out of position too often and had difficultly in man to man situations against thicker sized post players. What makes Capela intriguing is that he has all the ohysical skills to be an exception defender in the lane and a very good man defender. There are only a few players like that and they make a lot of money if they can stay on the court.

Capela mostly needs to improve his positioning, add some lower body strength and hit his free throws. If he does that, he will eventually be a Theo Ratliff/Tyson Chandler hybrid type post player.

in my opinion the reason why the suns are so much in the running except that they sold on him the idea of being the man is money. They told him that they will do a s+t with portland for markief and keep his bird rights an sign him a 1+1 so he can be a 10 year veteran when he goes again in free agency and take the super max. They must have already arranged somthing with Portland.
The Spurs offer one of the best situation and immediate contention but they want to sign him a 4 year max. He stands to lose tons of money this way but can instantly content for a title. He also won't be the man of the team.

Everyone is saying its San Antonio. I can't help but think that's where he will end up. Why would you turn down playing with the real MVP and Superman? Crazy, oh well.

No he hasn't. He is probably using the Heat as leverage to get a better deal from Cuban.

Great. The guy that literally never misses a shot against the Rockets is now playing in the same division
