I believe in his talent and despite the present headache, it makes no sense for the rockets to cut bait. I don't even think he's a shadow of a thought in the minds of his young teammates who are all competing for playing time, trying to carve out successful careers, realizing life-long dreams. He's a footnote. Hes a silent fart in the library. As long as the rockets stay patient ths thing will sort itself out one way or another. Stay the course Morey!
He can't, while he's under contract with the Rockets. If they buy him out / void, he could. But all of the top tier teams use planes a lot, it'd have to be a pretty crappy club that has no games at European level.
basically everything bad its happen with the team is McHale fault (I know its a tough time for him, and im sorry) and we cant ride him because he is a Hall of Famer... ouch...
Exactly, there is no downside to waiting at this point. Not like the NBA will give the Rockets an extra draft pick if they cut Royce today.
Replacement? There isn't anything to replace. I guess maybe D-Mo will get a few more minutes with the Vipers.
It's pretty sad all these "fans" taking shots at him. Don't sympathize with his situation? Perfectly fine. Angry that he's letting a once in a lifetime situation slip away? Completely understandable. But to crack insensitive jokes about his situation? Poor character. Yall aint perfect either, and its not like hes outwardly insulting his fans.
Sad but true. And even more tough times when his advocacy pursuit takes a hit when the cameras and attention disappear. I'm still pulling for him to get it together. The D-League is the best thing for him ... lower pressure, bigger canvas for him to display his "art".
If Lebron or Chris Bosh becomes available, I'm sure we can figure something out at that time and would not be penalized for not opening the roster spot on November 16, 2012.
