We were with the 5th seed the last two seasons, even though most Rockets fans had higher expectations.

Doesn't sound unreasonable this time around either. Remember, there only needs to be two teams in our division to have a better record than us for us to be the 5th seed. If the Rockets have another tough time with injuries, a reasonable expectation, I can easily see the Hornets and Spurs surpassing our win total.

Right. Just because she CAN put something on the internet doesn't mean she SHOULD put something on the internet.

If we do end up behind NOH and SAS then we could be 5th in the West again. Though I am going to doubt SAS ends up ahead of us.

Also.. what the heck does this mean.

Is that a hit at Artest and Yao not getting along?

Edit: Did anyone listen to Chad Ford's review? He doesn't even know how to pronounce Rafer's last name. And said that Tmac's BACK is already hurting. Seriously! Research people, research!

The pundits have serious, serious doubts about the ability of T-Mac and Yao to make it through an entire season uninjured. Those are legitimate concerns.

Man I listened to chad fords review, and he is really down on us. But like you said he states information that is not even correct, so why take his review into consideration.

Chad Ford is an idiot. In the audio preview clip, does he actually make the argument that the role players can't carry the load? I'll bet his mother's life that he can't name a team where if the top three guys go down, the team can still stay afloat with the role players.

According to this preview, the WC ranking would be:

    1 (1.2). Lakers
    2 (2.5). New Orleans
    3 (3.0). Utah
    4 (3.3). Houston
    5 (5.1). San Antonio
    6 (6.4). Phoenix
    7 (7.0). Portland
    8 (7.8). Dallas
    9 (9.4). Clippers
    10 (9.6). Denver
    11 (10.7). Golden State
    12 (12.9). Sacramento
    13 (12.9). Minnesota
    14 (13.3). Memphis
    15 (14.8). Oklahoma City

    Obviously, Utah is overrated!

He also couldn't name a team where there is a higher likelihood of the top three guys going down.

A trader? What is he trading? (ps just so you know... it's traitor)

He has an opinion just like everyone else. Rankings don't bother me. Lack of information about a team when creating that ranking does.

I bet if the Rockets start dominating the league, or are on a good streak, he's gonna be one of the guys to change their opinion

That's fine, but that's not my point.
Ford specifically brought up our role players, and said, "although they're good role players, they can't carry the load if the top three go down." I paraphrase.
