I think the money is just guaranteed money? If so it doesnt mean anything because KD will still be eligible for another max extension when his contract is done.

just the sight of harden seeming to go through the motions this season without any sense of urgency......leads me to believe he's parked in a waiting mode and we might actually have a chance at KD in the summer

KD is the biggest trash talker in the league. Draymond Green voted KD as the #1 trash talker. Said KD almost made him cry with his trash talk

Watkins/Stein was a fluff piece from Daryl.

Mannix/Amick are extremely credible. Keep in mind Amick broke the Dwight to Houston story.

Scratch that. Seems like Amick backed up the ESPN report.

There's no better way to do that other than to pick on Dwight, someone that isn't confrontational.

Would KD call Boogie a p***y?

    I doubt it.

No one mentions the Celtics. They have a fantastic head coach and GM and owner and franchise history. Their team is solid all around and in the East are 4th seed right now as is. You can potentially add one of Ben Simmons, Jaylen Brown, Brandon Ingram, Buddy Heild type of player while having the Celtics young guys like Marcus Smart continue to develop. You then still have more draft picks through the next several seasons that should be in the lottery no matter if you win the championship.
I mean, this is the way the Celtics were able to get Len Bias #1 after winning a ring. Of course the dude died, but that could have been 3 straight more rings and another decade of Bias carrying you. The Celtics know how to win. Their only poor era was the 90s due mostly to Bias's death and Reggie Lewis's death and tons more injuries. Other than that, they have consistently been great every decade/era. You'd also have a bigger legacy if you can help the Celtics win as the main man instead of joining a Warriors team that is already champs and most likely to repeat. You can't just join a 70 win team and not expect it to put a dent in your legacy. He doesn't strike me as taking the b**** way out like LeBron.

Wasn't Tracy McGrady Kevin Durant's favorite player? There's another reason for Houston. I'm sure he watched lots of Rockets games during his high school years and freshman year at Texas.

Morey if you are reading this: tell McGrady to recruit Durant to Houston....or maybe not...T-Mac is always brutally honest. He might just tell him to go to LA lol

    For real

Guys we literally have his best friend on our team. You think harden is not going to be the closest one to his ear talking about how deep we are?

KD doesn't want the hell storm hate he would receive like lebron team. GS is aleadu over the top, no one is gonna say **** if he goes to a Houston, Wizards, okc

if KD ends up going to GSW, we might as well blow up team and rebuild because they gonna dominate the next 5 years.

McGrady is going to be a judge for the Sprite Slam Dunk contest.

Maybe he can talk to KD there.

Let's face it. Our only chance is that Durant really wants tO play with his friend Harden and his old high school teammate Lawson while having the chance to name the available coach of his choosing. I suppose Texas might be a plus based on his one year at UT. Otherwise go for the rings w. the Warriors or go home with the Wizards.

I think #2 could be a problem for Durant. Two of those three stars are 20+ point scorers. Curry is MVP, Durant former MVP and Clay believes he's the best SG in the league. Someone is going to get less touches. Can all of those egos mesh as a team would be the question I'd have.

In contrast, KD and Harden are buds, have played together and would be an incredible 1-2 punch. If Dwight would take a lesser scoring role and focus on rebounding and defense, this could be a really good threesome.

So Rox will be a high school reunion team.

Dwight and Josh. Durant and Ty. That leaves Harden out.

Why do people add Lawson for a reason to come here?

I think we have a decent chance be of the Harden connection.

To those who say go to the Warriors and win 5 rings and be done. It doesn't work that way - stacking talent in golden state will surely lead to chemistry issues, cap issues eye and ultimately players leaving GS to go elsewhere ruining their winning formula.

Besides no player besides Lebitch wants to go to stacked teams to win titles- it will be viewed as fake titles so to speak.

The glory is going somewhere to be the missing piece needed to take down golden state, SA and Cleveland- that somewhere could likely be here.
Especially if we dark horse our asses this postseason AND get a REAL coach.
