It is amazing how they were winning at the end til he came in the game, and Kyrie ate his lunch, and the Clippers lost like the last 3 minutes. Pathetic.
That debut was awful and will feed the frenzy. Austin Rivers is a smallish SG who can't play the point, can't defend and can't shoot worth a lick. He doesn't do anything above-average. He's never played minutes that mattered at the NBA level and is suddenly thrust into the pressure cooker of a much-scrutinized team with high expectations. Releasing Farmar is no biggie, but everyone knows the only reason they made the deal was because Austin is Doc's son. This experiment seems doomed to failure. I'm curious who gets the extra 15-20 minutes when Austin is pulled out of the rotation.
