I'll take the heat if I'm wrong for this, but I do still honestly think it's the same guy with (at least) two accounts. I do a search and see one username has decided to lay low outside the GARM for a bit. The other has posted almost exclusively in "Key to season Terrence Jones", as I suspected he would the second I saw that thread appear.
91-100: http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/13821983/nbarank-91-100 100. Tony Allen 99. Eric Gordon 98. Roy Hibbert 97. Elfrid Payton 96. Nene Hilario 95. Ryan Anderson 94. Trevor Ariza 93. no i knew of bbholic. but wasnt sure about bobby. so bobby the great thinks jones is great and dmo sucks??
No, the 2 vocal douchebags (bobby and bball) are actually jpotmac, back to further torture us with his narcissistic personality disorder. In almost any thread he pushes DMo and bags Jones.
I can't believe that George Hill is ranked so low!! And D'angelo Russell who has shown zero is almost same rank. And Elfrid Payton who can't shoot the wide side of a barn and will soon have the same bad reputation as MCW is ahead of him! This rank gets worse everyday. Nene who was horrible at the playoffs and Wizards want to get rid off is in the top 100.
I think Hill is properly ranked, I think he's a similar caliber player as others near him. Elfrid Payton was really good towards the end of last season, great defensively and a nice distributor/rebounder. I do think Nene is a little high but I think for the most part they're pretty good.
Hill last year was amazing, after he got back from the injury. He is not properly ranked if you look who's infront of him. (kobe, rookies !!!, rhyno ) And wait this year for the general opinion on Payton to change too. Because PGs who can't shoot AT ALL are problematic in today's league. There's no way around it. And Payton can't even finish well. He can't shoot at all. And his defence was good, but it looked better than it really was beause the rest of the team was a real trainwreck in defence. I don't see much of a difference between Rondo and Payton to explain one being in top 100 and the other where? 170? Not to mention that the rookies Okafor and Towns havent even been included yet.
Rondo has fallen off a cliff. He was really good even two years ago, a top 50 or so player. Okafor and Towns will come up soon, Wiggins was ranked like in the 70s or 80s? Don't remember but he surely lived up to his rank last year even though he was a rookie.
I have never been all that high on George Hill, just from the eye test, but his advanced stats are alarmingly good. Definitely a chance he is an enormously underrated player. He is definitely a player I need to pay more attention too.
And Elfrid Payton has never even climbed the hill that Rondo fell off from. They will come up soon sure, overrated as is every rookie's real contribution to winnings and you have a great player as George Hill supposedly less than them. Of course. George Hill greatest value is that he can both take over as a playmaker, scorer and have lower usage with playing supreme defence and playing off the ball with a ball dominant sg. He is one of the most versatile guards because of this. There are very very few pointguards who can do this.
If today Kupchak will call up Orlando and offer them Kobe for Elfrid Payton straight up, the Magic will LOL and hang up.
sure. achilles injury 37 years old and one of the biggest contracts in the league. So? What's your point? Rondo's condition is not the current Kobe. And guess what both Rondo and Payton can shoot exactly the same right now AND finish at the paint the same. And I'm not sure who is the better at playmaking. Which proves that these ranks are crap yet again.

The most hilarious thing is that every player after Kobe has like 10 comments below saying "what?! better than kobe!!??!!111"
81-90: http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/13832016/nbarank-81-90 90. Jahlil Okafor 89. Tobias Harris 88. Jrue Holiday 87. Tyreke Evans 86. Monta Ellis 85. Marcus Smart 84. Taj Gibson 83. Robin Lopez 82. Kenneth Faried 81. Reggie Jackson No new Rockets, current list: 277. Sam Dekker 265. Clint Capela 264. Jason Terry 235. Marcus Thornton 232. K.J. McDaniels 165. Corey Brewer 135. Patrick Beverley 112. Terrence Jones 104. Donatas Motiejunas 94. Trevor Ariza
I feel like Ariza is underrated. But I guess his average shooting pulls down his rank despite his outstanding defense.
