ingram is the quintessential millennial, whining like a b**** when things don't go his way and lashing out at the closest object in full tantrum. and bspn is the quintessential triggermaker, manufacturing bullshit narratives to agitate what little viewers they have left now in their pathetic attempt to constantly create must see teevee
SAS tomorrow will be promoting his exclusive inside information about how Cp3 is a villian but yet Rondo is a saint
People always get this wrong, and it's so annoying. If you're going to criticize Harden, criticize him for looking to draw fouls too much. It's also understandable why casual fans don't enjoy that part of Harden's game. But that is very different from flopping. Harden sometimes forces shooting fouls through creatively creating contact, but that is not flopping. Flopping by definition involves no physical contact; that is not the case with Harden's strategy. There is a clear difference between the two, and yet even the so-called experts always get this wrong.
Sad to see ESPN has falled so much that it tries to excuse and justify violence. And as much we think it's about the Rockets it is not. It is about being Lakers groupies. Harden was an easier target than someone like Curry but even then they would find a way to excuse it. Disgusting.
Imagine you go into your office late at night, after everyone has already gone home. The people there working are the people you’re seeing on espn commentating after the game is over on a Saturday night.
Honestly just embrace the hate. I was surprised at how much the 'Stros were hated while lurking r/baseball and it just goes to show you, once you are at the top, people come hard with the hate. If we were the Orlando Magic no one would hate us, no one cares about the Magic. People hate the Rockets and Stros because they remember these teams coming into their buildings and laying the smacketh down on them...they remember Harden schooling their favorite player and him leading his team to victory. Just think about it...how many people Hate the Texans? Outside of the division or Cowboy fans? Yeah, no one fears them, no one hates them. Other fans hate the Rockets because they know they don't want to see us in the playoffs. Long story short. Great teams garner hate, mediocre teams people forget about it and don't care about.
This is something to fuel ESPN, it would have been better if Chris Paul would have walked that off instead of throwing the punch.
Haven't followed Ingram that much but was it the first major 'scuffle' he has been in? They must feel entitled just because they won the Bron Sweepstakes.
There are no precise dates for when this cohort starts or ends; demographers and researchers typically use the early 1980s as starting birth years and the mid-1990s to early 2000s as ending birth years. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Millennials
Jemele Hill on Twitter says Ingram has gained respect for this because harden instigated the whole thing with his flopping.
