I remember him welcoming Harden (and throw ins) <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>Really sad to see Kmart and JLamb go...both class acts and great teammates. Welcome Harden, Cook, Aldrich and Hayward to Houston!!</p>— Jeremy Lin (@JLin7) <a href="https://twitter.com/JLin7/statuses/262398256049422336">October 28, 2012</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> *shrug*
And I can't believe LOF would prefer that Lin be named a "starter" even at the detriment of his game, which is as a primary ball handler and playmaker. Something that he can do better as a 6th man rather than playing alongside Harden and Howard. I would think you'd be happier with Lin being in contention for 6th man of the year with better stats and better team success, than Lin as an awkward fit as a starter where he has to keep playing off the ball and spot up for 3s.
Harden plays 35+ minutes. Unless Lin is going to only play 7 min - the ones Harden is out, he'll still be playing more of his minutes along side of Harden. He's going to have to hit that spot-up 3 no matter what.
Yeah, that's what I'm asking. I actually haven't heard any news on Lin except that 40 point game in the San Fran pro am.
dude said he was taking a break from twitter.. so when he gets back, we will see what he says! be patient
http://instagram.com/p/a-Pg4YuP1T/ That is what JLin sould be doing instead of worrying about anything else.
Your math seems to not work. If Harden averages 35mpg, And Lin plays 28mpg(a little less since he supposedly has stamina issues last season), then they only overlap for 50% of the time. Also, Howard impacts Lin almost as much as Harden, since he demands his post-ups.
i agree. McFail didn't used Lin correctly at all last season. glad you've finally saw the light too. but he has embraced that role and improved his jumpers towards the second half of the season plus he's been practicing a lot this off season. he'll be counted on to spread the floor and make those passes into the low-post.
McFail??? You obviously do not have a clue as to what you are talking about. Go **** in another pot please. The guy has been a god send.
I think we should trade Lin, but in order to increase his value, we should let him play PG and Harden play SG. We should also run more plays for him. Then trade him when his value is much better.
So... what you're saying is... you want him to get better... and then trade him? If he started playing better, wouldn't that be exactly what Rockets fans want...? Smh.
Whenever you want to trade a player, you want to showcase his talents. His talents are less obvious when he plays the SG role. He doesn't have to be better, but if we run more plays for him and let him play PG, he'll appear much, much better. That will increase his confidence, which will improve his play tremendously.
You're assuming that letting Lin play PG will be worse for the team than letting Harden play PG. I thought even Lin haters agreed that Lin is the better playmaker.
