I'm a Parsons fan but you have to at least consider a deal where you send out some combination of Parsons, Lin, and Asik for Rondo and Green.

Our perimeter defense issues are huge which is the main reason I would ever consider dealing Parsons. We have two erasers in the frontcourt with Dwight and Asik and they spent a big chunk of the Portland series in foul trouble due in part because our perimeter guys can't stay in front of their man. Maybe adding someone like Rondo isn't a Moreyball solution and would require some accommodation offensively...alot of the defensive contributions don't show up in their analytics (pass deflections, etc) but my eyeballs tell me they have to make a change.
It's rumored that he tried to veto the JJ Reddick trade for the same reason you think he would take Chandler Parsons. What are you talking about?

Since Adelman now retired, TWolves will be open for a complete rebuild. Rubio would love to go with Love to Rockets, Rubio won't need to shoot when he can pass the freaking ball to anyone anywhere anytime. IMAGINE RICKY RUBIO RUNNING THE HOUSTON ROCKETS RUN AND GUN AND ALLEY OOPS AND 3'S! Rubio would be perfect for this team.
