The western conference is too tough to predict. You could argue that the Thunder could be as low as 3rd or 4th in the west, the Clippers could be 1st, the Warriors could be top 3, even the Spurs could be as low as 5th or 6th. Hopefully the Rockets can finish 4th or higher but you never know.
I am offended by your signature. Being a racist and using slurs should not be tolerated. Such a douche... Calling for Clutch to ban this clown.
It would be brutal. I could see some ejections, dirty plays, bloody noses. mark Jackson strikes me as someone that would encourage play like that too.
Mark Jackson might tell his players to act like thugs, but the problem is that nobody on that team is a thug at heart. Curry, Thompson, Barnes, lee, Bogut are all decent human beings whose haters might actually call 'soft'. Iggy is the toughest guy they have and even he is an alright dude. This ain't Utah with Harpring Boozer Kirilenko or Bananaface Gordan Giricek. Mark Jackson is just gonna get his players injured trying to make them pretend to be something they're not. O wait he did that last year too...I predict a letdown year for them.
For some reason, I could see the Clips being at the top of the west by the season's end. But I wouldn't see them holding up the trophy at the end of it all. Feel like they'll be an excellent regular season team, but teams like San Antonio and us will be the better playoff teams. I'd love for Houston to go up against Golden State in a 4/5 match-up. God, could you imagine how heated that would get???
Wasn't it against Indiana that Curry tried to get into it with someone and he just pushed him off like it was nothing? I like the fact that he won't back down, but Curry should be smarter than that, especially considering his size and his injury history. I can see them not even in the playoff picture if he's out.
1. Rockets (80 - 2) 2. Phoenix (30 - 52) 3. Sacramento (28 - 54) 4. Minnesota (28 - 54) 5. New Orleans (27 - 55) 6. Portland (26 - 56) 7. Utah (24 - 58) 8. Denver (23 - 59) 9. Oklahoma City (23 - 59) 10. Memphis (21 - 61) 11. L.A. Clippers (19 - 63) 12. San Antonio (19 - 63) 13. Golden State (15 - 67) 14. Dallas (1 - 81) 15. L.A. Lakers (0 - 82) TRUTH! I'll bet my Lambo on it!
We still have not found a dependable solution at the 4. Hoping that Jones, D-Mo or Smith can blossom into a NBA starting PF makes me uneasy. A true contender cannot have a serious hole among its starting players. Having said that, Morey is patient and he will roll with what we have until he gets a serious offer(s) for Asik and Lin.
We go from being underrated to being overrated..I'm going to be hold out on saying we're top 3, even by the end of the year. I say we're probably have some adjustment problems in the beginning and will struggle to get 55 wins.
Are the days where the media and the league overlooks us gone? I'm so used to us flying under everyone's radar.
I personally think the Clippers are overrated by many. To me their glaring hole in the middle limit their upside. The basically have Jordan at center, who's not even good, and no one significant to back him up. I also see similar issues with Golden State, who lacks that interior presence. To me, at least on paper in the playoffs, I truly only fear OKC and a healthy, not old SA team.
