[ESPN] Heat players questioning if Spoelstra is right coach

spoelstra is not ready for this kind of magnitude. no coach has ever been under this type of pressure for a reg. season.

he panicked in the 3rd quarter v. dallas. players are to blame also, but coaches always get fired first.

 

I like what Wade said. He makes a great point. Sometimes, instead of pointing fingers at the coach, they need to take a look at themselves.

The players CLEARLY dont respect him, and spo CLEARLY has ZERO tricks up his sleeve, the other coaches know his playbook front to back.

I don't think Riley will fire Spoelstra. He might come down and talk to the team and kick their ass a bit for the way they're playing. But, in the end, he's going to give his vote of confidence to his young coach. This is on the players.

 

i hate nba players, why do they get to control the team? a coach tells his player to be serious and he has to fear losing his job? "professional" athletes? imo the only thing that makes lebron a "professional" is his paycheck

 

(((WTH)))? Isn't that what he is supposed to do? Reminds me of that time Rudy T called out the team before game 2 against Orlando. If the team is not being professional it is up to him to remind them why they are at shoot-around. Wow. LBJ is going to get a bad rep among GM's and no one is going to want to coach him. They are going to call him "uncoachable"

 

Players crying because coach is making them work hard and take practice seriously? And people are blaming the coach for losing?

 

i've been saying spo runs one of the worst offenses in the league and now he's getting exposed.

 

From reading that article, it sounds like the players (with LerBon leading the way) are being whiny little spoiled b****es.

It sort of makes me side with Stern on his dictatorship and taking away as many rights away from the players as possible.
