Morey ranked fifth in the organization. That's two out of two for me Torocan. I'm curious now on how McHale ranks in the organization.
I'm guessing somewhere around 10th, though could be slightly higher/lower depending on the actual score.

What exactly makes Dallas a better front office than ours?? I think any objective person would say, going forward, the Rockets are set up for a much better future.
I see Morey's PR work and his Sloan Conference stuff doing him wonders. 5th place for a perennial underachiever and 1st round knock off. On the same note GSW front office is vastly over-rated based on their current season.
They have the 4th best record in the NBA with their second best player missing most of the season. Young players have continued to improve. Yet the Rockets staff is still a POS according to a lot of people on this board. I am not saying McHale is Popovich or Carlisle, but he is competent.
these dudes/ladies just want to throw darts at someone. it happens every season. It'll be the next coach, and the next coach after that.
What this ranking is based on I have no earthly idea. Dallas must be getting huge points for the Dirk signing, but if you factor in his contract with the Parsons contract its not as fantastic of value even though its still pretty good. I guess Dirk deserves alot of the credit there Then you have the Rondo trade. That can't really be helping their case. They have very little young talent, good draft picks, and have major volitility for their core players (Ellis, Chandler, Rondo) to leave for nothing in free agency. Even with the Dirk super-value signing, I would rank them much much longer. Oh wait... did Stein have something to do with this ranking??? ... That would make more sense.
They are ranking the owner, basketball GM and coach here, not "future." Dallas has one of 2-3 most respected coaches in the league and an owner who's shown willingness to spend in the past.
People are arguing we should be higher not remembering how long it's been since we got out the 1st round. If we don't make it out again this year it'll be even worse
I am guessing its over a period of time... since if you agree that SAN is the top, and ATL is SAN-east or SAN-lite, then ATL needs to be up there. And of course... GSW has to this season.
Those teams have better front office than Rockets. Spurs Thunders Raptors Warriors Miami Lakers Celtics Grizzlies Mavericks Bulls Pacers Hawks Blazers Wizards Pistons prob Clippers as well, but I do not like Rivers.
