Lol this league cracks me up.

Billion dollar industry that acts like they can’t come up with a new referee system since the 60s

Have a ref to watch the matchup of each position and have 1 under each basket

Not enough. You also need refs to watch guys on the bench, like Austin Riviers who stepped in the playing area. And you need refs to check the secret tunnels to make sure players don't sneak into the other team's locker room to make trouble.

Let the star players ref themselves. Also make a rule that if a star player goes to the basket and a player from the other team plays defense, the star player gets two extra fts for the hassle and you are fined for getting in front of him, because you are under no circumstance to show up the star player.

Guys, Refs didn’t randomly become terrible the last few seasons. They are just as capable as ever of calling a decent game.

Adding new refs does literally zero to solve the problem. Missed calls are NOT the issue, it’s blatantly incorrect calls 50% of the time.

Until the fan base holds the NBA accountable, the WWE calls will continue to worsen. Honestly, the guys at the top of the NBA and at ESPN putting this directly on the refs is absolutely hysterical, and insulting to our collective intelligence.

When will the owners begin holding Adam Silver accountable for destroying a decent product in the free short years he’s been here? Someone needs to step up, and it’s not going to be a ref.

I blame the league for allowing flopping, making the refs' job much more difficult.

Six refs seems excessive. I do think having a ref on the sideline watching video and making instant calls is a great idea. But I also imagine that players and coaches aren't too against the refs taking time to look at the replays because it gives everyone the equivalent of a timeout and the chance to catch a blow. So I suspect the League would be slow to move in that direction.

More refs doesn't address the problem of loser refs blowing their gasket over nothing and tossing players from the game. They need to check their egos at the door, first and foremost

How has the league destroyed the product?
